About David Rinck

David focuses on bringing data analytics and machine learning into software applications. He has worked on developing business solutions and data insights in a variety of domains including pharmaceutical research, medical devices, and the energy sector.

As a senior software engineer at HOMER Energy, he works to commercialize and modernize algorithms originally developed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

He holds a Master’s in Engineering from Columbia University where he developed a cloud sensor network for measuring home heat and electrical usage.
